Money should grow on trees

I’m currently in my early twenties, and so far I’ve managed to handle my money stupidly enough that I basically have nothing to show for it.

The day before yesterday, I realized that something has to change. And who knows, maybe my quality of life will improve along the way too.

I’d like to call this an experiment, but honestly, it’s just as easy to call it my rags-to-riches journey. (That’s sarcasm — I’ve never had to worry about having food on the table.)

To a million *insert BOOM sfx*

Someone I know once told me a pretty sharp line that has stuck with me ever since:

“Don’t cut your spending. Make more money.”

Sure, it’s a bit of a blunt way of thinking. But who knows what I’ll be like 20, 10, or even five years from now.

Either way, in my eyes, the best time to experiment and fail is RIGHT NOW. It doesn’t matter whether I’m 18, 30, or 60.

So I’m basically starting from zero and seeing where this goes.

But as is human nature, everyone wants to get rich.
